Old Manchester Museum open house

This museum has a new exhibit of old Manchester — dinosaurs and their remains in Buckland, Podunk Americans, and information from Mathias Spiess’s history of Manchester. Permanent exhibits include Manchester industries: Pitkin Glass Works, Cheney Silk Mills, Case Brothers Paper Mills. A small museum store sells copies of maps and local-history items such as books and pamphlets. Our volunteer docents can help with research. Generally open the first Saturday of the month, May through December, from 10:00 to 2:00. Free. Donations welcome.
